Forget Darwin.
Origin of Species is the musical partnership between Daniel Sahagun and Josh Steinmetz. Two misfits that like to share each other's thoughts and use each others hands. After playing in various bands together for 8 or so years they parted and headed their seperate ways. Now some four years and a handful of solo records later (Josh Steinmetz, Proteus, & Sombra) they're back and stronger than ever.
The first little flower born of their seed is a four-song EP "Mutual Affinities". Recorded in and around Los Angeles in early 2007. But it seems that this is truly just the tip of the giant iceberg these two. And those damn warming ocean currents seem to be taking these young revolutionaries to some exciting and yet undiscovered places...
