Sombra
I've been playing music for a long time, but Sombra is my first solo effort. After ten years of being in a few bands, I needed a project of my own. I began writing new music in 2003, and a few years later I was finally able to record my first album. Only Temporary was completed in the fall of 2006. I will continue to release music under the name Sombra while I work on other projects. The next full-length record should be available in the spring of 2008, but I'll find time before then to release an EP.
I am currently involved in many different projects including Origin of Species with longtime friends and collaborators Josh Stienmeitz and Evan Peters. Over the past few years Evan and I have also produced recordings for bands such as Sick of Sarah, Burn Proper, Last Stanza, and Hail Hail.
I love music because I've been inspired by great artists. The soundtrack of my life would blow your mind.
